as salaamu alaykum,
May this reach you in great health and imaan,
May Allah reward you mufti with good for your efforts. I am posting a question concerning the recent REPUBLISH of the Danish cartoons http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/223B2D74-4D8F-45C7-B7C3-0F8D42C4A776.htm
What is a muslim to do to oppose these cartoons. This is the second time they are being published. Some of our excited youth are speaking about the blood of these individuals being halal etc.. What should be the view concerning these individuals (and the Danish government) as they allow this to happen.
Please give a detailed benefit so we can get much benefit and have the issue clarified.

Whatever has been happening in the form of defaming Islaam and insulting the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و سلم) is an affliction through which a Muslim should be patient and a great devotee of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) abiding by his lifestyle and kicking against the others. A sweet fruit lies in patience as the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) is reported to have said, “How strange is the matter of a believer, there is good in all his affairs, and this is only for the believer. If something good happens to him and he is grateful, then this is good for him, and if a calamity befalls him and he is patient, then this is also good for him.” (Muslim)
Therefore, Muslims should not be emotional by this sort of situations. They should tackle them with wisdom and tolerance using political, financial and journalistic methods. All should turn to Allaah (سبحانه و تعالى) with sincere repentance and follow the lifestyle of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) in every sphere of life. We should sink our differences and gather under one umbrella for the sake of religion. Allaah (سبحانه و تعالى) says, “And hold fast, all of you together, to the cable of Allaah, and do not separate”. (Al-Imran, 3:103)
