tatoos??/

Some I know got a tattoo before he heard the opinion that it may be haraam

What is the opinion on a man getting a tattoo and what is the position of him that when he has got a tattoo he didn’t know and he is being told now?
Secondly i just would like to confirm the following hadith ….  because from what i have observed, many women pluck their eyebrows in uk

Al-Bukhaari and Muslim narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:

“Allaah has cursed the women who do tattoos and the women who have this done, the women who pluck their eyebrows, and the women who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and change the creation of Allaah.”
I also i would like to know the hukm on piercing (for both men and women) as it is common in uk and i know of three to four men who have fake gold ear studs (with pierced ears) and it is become increasingly common in uk

 :assalam:
 :bismillah:
The usage and having tatoos print on ones body is forbidden for both male and female. ALLAH’S curse befalls both the one having it done as well as the one who does it for others. If any person unknowingly has      engraved a tatoo on his body then he should repent sincerely to ALLAH for the wrong and also try and have it removed by skin graph if possible..
As for the hadeeth it is correct with variations in worde. Yes if the eyebrows are extremely thick and could cause visual problems then trimming will be permissable to trim to remove the problem.
Earrings for males are forbidden. Piercing of ears for females is totally permissable.
AND ALLAH KNOWS BEST
