Informing Mother-in-Law of Talaaq

AOA

Dear Mufti Sb, two months ago i gave one talaaq to my wife now 3 days before when we fought i told her mother that i have given talaaq to her now she is illigitimate for me so take her with you kindly advise how many talaaq are these
السلام عليكم
باسمه تعالى
In the case referred to the question, if you were just informing the mother-in-law of the Talaaq you gave two months age and were not intending any new Talaaq then only one Talaaq will be counted and you can live together without remarriage. But if you were informing her of the present situation then the marital ties have broken completely and you are Ajanbi-stranger to each other. If you feel that you can live a splendid conjugal life and want to reunite, the wife should marry another man and have sexual intercourse with him. Now if the second husband dies or divorces her, she can, after completing the Iddah period, remarry you.
والله اعلم

N.B. Although the question is somehow complex, it shows that you informed the mother-in-law of the present situation and hence two Talaaq have occurred by the statement given to her and one took place two months ago. Therefore, the marital ties have broken completely and can not be reunited without Shari’ee Halaalah.

  1. if my husband get tempered and shouted to me saying Talak Talak Talak then can i continue with him with out remarriage? no one was there and he also not intend to divorce me
If he did not intend to give you talaaq then why scream out the words? When in argument with the wife and a person utters talaaq then it takes place.Intention has no bearing on the ruling.
